How is Intake different from Wordsmith Agents?

Agents already perform legal work in Slack, Teams and email. Intake turns every request into a managed task that can be assigned, worked on, tracked and moved across the legal team through to resolution.

How is Intake different from traditional legal intake software?

Traditional intake tools capture, classify and route requests. Intake keeps going: it performs the work it can, brings in the right people and gives the team everything needed to run the task to completion.

What can my team do inside a task?

They can collaborate, review the work completed so far, make decisions, send emails and take the actions needed to move the request forward, all while keeping the context and history together.

How does Intake decide who should handle a request?

You define the rules for different types of legal work. Intake uses them to route each task to the relevant person, team or Agent, and can bring in additional owners as the work progresses.

Can we customise how different requests are handled?

Yes. Different request types can have their own rules, steps, owners and Agent actions, so a contract review does not follow the same process as a privacy, employment or procurement request.
