Introducing Wordsmith's new look

When we set out to redesign the Wordsmith brand, blue ink gave us our anchor - the color of deeds, contracts, and affidavits. The color that makes something real. That says someone stands behind it. But what it pointed us toward was something bigger: The New Legal Code.


Not a patch on the old system. Not a chatbot with a law degree. A genuine rewrite - one that takes centuries of legal authority and makes it accessible, intelligent, and yours. Wordsmith is the platform in-house legal teams use to run their company's entire legal function: with the permanence, accountability, and trust the law has always demanded, and the speed and clarity it never had.


This is where legal expertise meets the creativity of engineering. Where the legacy of the profession and the ambition of technology stop competing and start collaborating.


To bring this to life, we partnered with forpeople, a global creative agency with a rare gift for building brands that actually resonate. Their strategic and creative guidance helped shape everything that followed.


The visual language reflects the idea exactly. The headline typeface is a modern take on a classic serif, GT Ultra Median - the kind of letterform you'd find on a century-old legal document and a forward-looking law review in the same week.


The graphic device is born from the act of highlighting: a gesture that ties the written word to the digital one, and signals that something important is worth holding onto. The layouts are as deliberate as a well-drafted contract. Every element has earned its place.


The new brand is now live across the entire Wordsmith experience. And the merchandise? It just got a serious upgrade.
